We're in the business of serving our residents, business owners and visitors. That means providing the services and facilities that they need to enjoy life in Woodstock. Our council is dedicated to living up to the expectations and following through on the promises that saw them elected into office.

Our current city council was elected on October 27, 2014 and were sworn in at the December 4, 2014 inaugural meeting. Members of council are elected for a 4 year term.

Our boards and committees work hard to make sure we're doing the most we can for everyone in Woodstock. The responsibilities of the members of our boards and committees include:

  • Providing advice and recommendations on a number city issues
  • Reviewing requests from our residents
  • Prioritizing projects

Appointments to Boards and Committees

We are currently accepting applications from persons living or working in the City of Woodstock interested in serving on the Sister Cities Committee . The terms will commence December 1, 2014 and expire on November 30, 2018. All applications must be in writing, listing interests and background.
